We used HM last year for an indoor project and so glad we decided to use them again for our deck addition. Helio and his team did not disappoint! We couldn't be more pleased with the way our project turned out. Their attention to detail is second to none, Helio stayed in constant contact with us keeping us informed every step of the way even offering design assistance to ensure our deck turned out exactly as we wished. I had Helio and his crew remodel my master bath, install new french doors to my pool, re-stain my kitchen floor and replace a window and skylight. It could not have gone better. Great crew. they were honest, friendly and really cared about the work. The job started on time and the guys worked hard and did a quality job cleaning up nicely every night. Communication was excellent and they remedied some poor quality work done by the previous owner in the process. I would happily recommend them to friends and family and will have them back for other work.
There were some delays in the beginning phase because of the city permits, but I appreciated Helio keeping me in the loop each day. The workers were respectful and responsive to changes. All in all I am very happy with the work and the company HM Contractor. I would suggest that if you use them, you know what colors, tiles, cabinets you need so that you don’t feel rushed.
Helio and his crew were an absolute pleasure to work with. We appreciate all their hard work and attention to detail. We are very pleased with the beautiful, high quality craftsmanship. Helio and his team are very trustworthy, courteous and polite. They always showed up on time and even worked Saturday! We will definitely hire HM Construction and Painting again!
Mr. Mota and one of his workers came over to assess the damage, set up a reasonable estimate and timeline to repair. The work was done on time and at budget. The bathroom ceiling looks as good as new again.
They remodeled two of our bathrooms with amazing results. We would recommend them to everyone.
I looked at 6 kitchen remodelers for my kitchen. Helio was willing to do all the required work (others would only do some of the work), and offered a competitive price. Helio offered a design for our new kitchen, and worked with us through some design changes. We had an old hot water radiator we wanted removed and Helio offered a few options to keep heat in the kitchen. He patiently worked on the design until we both agreed to the project. Work began on time. This was a complete demolition of the old kitchen, they were very good keeping the rest of my house clean throughout the project. Demolition revealed some sheetrock that would need to be replaced, and the floor had multiple layers that needed to be removed. Helio just took care of it, no issue. Work was done each day, including Saturday, and the project was completed 1 week ahead of the contracted date. The end result is a fabulous new kitchen. Helio was great, his men were very good. I would use him again.
This is my second experience with Helio of HM Construction- I texted him one morning about doing some exterior painting and he responded IMMEDIATELY. in the past, I’ve had people tell me that they could start in 8+ weeks . . . Helio was on the job within DAYS. Power washing everything from the roof on down, then they worked as much as the weather would allow and wrapped it up with no unecessay delays. We encountered a last minute issue with an AC pipe leaking through my patio roof and Helio shimmied into the eaves of my attic to diagnose the issue and then called one of his trusty crew to come over and fix it right then and there. This guy does not fool around! They power washed all surfaces on the way out- a great job. If I have another job, Helio would be my go-to guy and i highly recommend (he previously fixed two area of my house that were leaking last fall and not one drop since!)
We would highly recommend H.M construction. Helio provided us with a detailed estimate, he completed all of the work we originally contracted for on time, and also managed to finish some additional work that we requested in the same timeframe. He promised that his team would be at the house every day until the work was finished, and he kept this promise. We provided detailed requirements, and Helio made some helpful suggestions that we accepted, e.g. kitchen tile and paint colors. His team was very courteous and professional in their work. Whenever there were problems, as you will always get with any project like this, Helio and his team came up with practical suggestions and recommendations that addressed the situation and fit our budget. Overall, we are very pleased with the results.
Helio worked around my schedule when setting up appointments and was available to come by early around 7am which is great when you need to drop off your kids in the morning. Originally we just needed to finish the basement, but during the install we asked him to build a built-in shelving cabinet next to our fireplace and it came out amazing! Helio's group made sure to listen and respond to all my requests during the process and even helped on things I didn't think of. When coming to my home during the middle of the project he noticed my front door was a little hard to open and fixed on his own, now it's much easier to open. HM Construction was referred to me by my sister who was also very happy with her service. I highly recommend using them for most contract needs.
Helio was always on time. His crew was polite and courteous. He was more than accommodating when we made slight changes to the original contract. His work was very good. He and his workers supplied us with very good ideas and suggestions throughout the entire project. The price for his services was reasonable. His workers were very trustworthy and were left in our home alone often. Helio was a pleasure to work with. We would hire him again for future projects.
Helio and his team attacked the problem in a comprehensive manner, taking down both the interior sheet rock and exterior siding. His team rebuilt after repairing, painting, replacing warped/ rotten flooring in family room. He also recommended replacing all the exterior trim with Azek (sp?), which we did. He also helped with small things that came up while he was on site. His team handles a wide variety of home related issues. We also decided to have all the gutters replaced while this was going on and he worked well with our gutter/ roofing guy. He answers texts and calls quickly. His team shows up early and stays late.
